IKEA’s image powerhouse

At IKEA’s Product Picture Communication department, with a holistic and cost-effective approach, our dynamic projects created and produced more than 2,000 annual images. Utilizing versatile templates and automotion processes, pictures were created in the physical and 3D studio. From main product shots to context and function images, our goal is to curate an immersive shopping experience on IKEA.com.

Product picture types

The Product Description Pages feature a blend of 3D-generated and studio-captured images/videos. They help the customer in their purchase decission. From left to right: Main product picture, function product picture , context product picture, specificationssketch, assembly product film, detail product picture.

Assembly and product films

Assembly films help customers to undestand how a product is used or assembled. I created the concept and storyboards, art directed the films and oversaw the postproduction
